Abacus Technology is seeking a Multimedia Producer to support multimedia projects for the eMITS program at Goddard Space Flight Center. This is a full-time position.

Facilitate the technical and content objectives for multimedia projects.
• Spearhead and oversee production of digital content.
• Scope multimedia projects, communicate with the requirements owner and development team, and lead the multimedia efforts from inception through completion.
• Generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
• Optimize reading levels for non-scientific audiences; optimize products for multiple platforms.
• Create special effects, animation, or other visual images using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in products.
• Write, edit, shoot and narrate pieces, or compile the work from content elements authored separately.
• Work closely with teams of writers, animators, and social media experts.
• Make decisions about storylines and concepts, set goals and objectives, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate designers and artists, supervise performance of all team members, and assist staff as needed.
• Monitor progress of projects and inspects quality of production.

12+ years experience supporting multimedia projects. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Knowledgeable about all aspects of digital media. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. May work on behalf of a particular NASA mission, program or project, or specialize in a relevant topical science or technology field. Experienced with Adobe Suites. Must be a US citizen.
